“Do you know that there are only 50 serving guide dogs in Hong Kong?”
On 14 November, our S.1 students were engaged in the talk given by speakers from the Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association. Our students received the most fruitful information: from what breeds of guide dogs to be chosen, how the canines are brought up to finally matching with their service targets.
“After getting Coco, my social life has improved.” Students were also excited to have met Kwok Wing and his guide dog, Coco.
They could get a deeper glimpse of Kwok’s life as he shared his daily experience. In the end, students enjoyed a “petting session” where they could interact with Coco as Kwok Wing demonstrated how Coco guides him around the room.
