The SU Election Day provides an opportunity for TTCA students to practice democracy. All students have the right to take their stand towards the nominated cabinet through their votes.
During the promotion period, members in the nominated cabinet, Nexus, tried their best to gain students’support. They introduced themselves on social media, distributed their own promotion products and designed a promotion banner and a poster for the election.
In the Election Day, many students exercised their voting rights during the recess, in the lunch time and after school, which contributed to the success of the election.
This year a total of 406 students casted their vote. The voting rate is about 62.7%. Nexus gained about 61.7% of ‘vote of confidence’ in the valid ballots. Nexus was elected as the Executive Committee of the 14th Student Union.
