The school's recorder team was invited by Queen’s College to co-organize the first Joint Recorder Days. The event includes an ensemble and a master class cum concert. It was held on September 7 (Saturday) and September 8 (Sunday) at Queen’s College.
Both schools’ recorder teams have won numerous championship awards at both Hong Kong School Music Festival and overseas competitions for years. The QC x TTCA Joint School Recorder Days cum Concert established a platform for both teams’ further development and exposure.
A recorder master class was also included during the activity. It was held by Mr. Henry Ho, a local renowned recorder player and adjuster. Finally, a concert served as the conclusion of our first joint school recorder camp. Students from QC and TTCA shared the joy of playing recorder through a performance, which included pieces of different genres such as early music, baroque and jazz. Special thanks to all participators, parents and honourable guests, you all made it really successful.
