Odd Socks Workshop

In late May, we organized a series of activities to raise the awareness of mental health among students. For junior forms, students dyed their socks during Visual Arts lessons and decorated their own socks during assembly periods. For senior forms, students designed their own socks from scratch during assembly periods. This idea is adapted from the Odd Socks Day in Australia, where people would wear odd socks to symbolize it is okay to be odd and to be themselves. It is hoped that by designing their own socks, students could learn to appreciate each individual’s uniqueness.
