English learning at TTCA is never about our traditional classroom ABCs. Language learners are never cooped up within classroom walls here. Our S4 and S5 students were empowered to apply what they had learnt in class and created signature dishes from all over the world for their S1-S3 schoolmates. French madeleines, Belgium chocolate, German Pretzels, you name it, we had got it! The mind-opening intercultural encounters our junior students experienced were transformative. Two days of worldwide food booths culminated on 25 April, with Class 4A taking the “My Favourite Booth’’ title.
