Venue: Wan Chai Ground Works operated by St. James Settlement
A group of S.4 and S.5 students visited the Ground Works to understand how a social enterprise works. Ground Works aims to serve and improve the quality of life of the local community, especially the low-income group and grassroots women. Besides a walking tour around Wan Chai and a visit to the store, our students had a chance to try the making of handcrafted peanut brittle, one of the most popular products sold by the social enterprise.
